Founded in 2009, Black-Eyed Susans began as a seasonal small farm-to-table restaurant focused on showcasing the incredible seafood brought into Viking Village in Barnegat Light and the incredible produce and meats grown in New Jersey, Pennsylvania & New York. Although our location has changed and our concept has grown, our vision still remains to provide the highest quality local ingredients from our network of farmers, fisherman and local artisans to our guests! Our food is both highly creative and very approachable. Our menus reflect the seasonal availability from our local farms, distributors and fishermen. We believe that the best food is grown locally and with respect for the environment, so we've spent the past 15 years building relationships with farmers and fishermen who fit the bill! We use many organic ingredients, sustainably caught fish and seafood, and pasture raised meats.

Our wines are thoughtfully chosen to provide customers with incredible values. We have a certified level II sommelier on staff who strives to present our guests with unique and delicious wines that accompany our cuisine. Our cocktails are simple and well-executed, utilizing fresh ingredients and thoughtfully selected spirits in order to create delicious drinks to be enjoyed on their own or with our food.

We strive to exceed our guest’s expectations, whether they are joining us to celebrate a major milestone or just for a pizza on Wednesday night, our goal is always for our customers to leave happier than they walked in the door. Our team is constantly learning and evolving in order to provide our guests with the best possible experience.
